Mivara secondary school is a private independent co-educational secondary school established in 1997 by Mr. Daniel O. Abanan Nwozor. It offers a comprehensive and broad based education aimed at producing a total individual. We encourage students to fully utilize their cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills while preparing them for adimission into universities and other tertiary institutions. Daniel O. Nwozor is a specialist in general merchandise and contracts. He also has a firm belief in the social importance of education to the world. The students of this institution are spread across different professions. He is committed to advancing the studies of humanities, sciences and business as academic disciplines. Long before the establishment of Mivara schools, the proprietor believed that education should be qualitative. The school is focused on achieving a perfect blend in British Montessori Education with our curriculum and providing innovative education programmes of high standard for students of all cultures. Ours is a center of pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning as a catalyst as well as an agent of societal development. Mivara children school was established in 1985 at Amukoko, Apapa Lagos. It recorded huge successes since then. The schools’ outstanding results in the federal and state common entrance speak for the institution. In 1992, the proprietor saw the need for expansion which led to the purchase of a land in Tedi-Town, Ojo Lagos. Then in 1997, Mivara secondary school was established. Tedi-Town was not as developed as it is now. The students and staff of Mivara Secondary School are committed to put students first, inculcate moral and ethics, improve the quality of teaching and learning. They have been doing great in these areas. Admission to the School is strictly by a competitive common entrance examination.
